INFORMATION ON COLLECTIONS
The collections of museum kunst palast
impress by their wide diversity. They incorporate formidable works of
old art, as well as a considerable collection of works of art of the
19th century, a large number of which represents the Dusseldorf School
of Painting. Of equal significance are the paintings of Classical Modernism
and the collection of contemporary art, which was commenced following
World War II. Further highlights include the internationally-acclaimed
collection of Prints and Drawings incorporating a large number of significant
hand drawings of Italian Baroque, as well as the Hentrich Glass Museum.
Another significant part is the collection of the Dusseldorf Art Academy.
