Partnerships The museum kunst palast is a public-private-partnership between the city of Dusseldorf, E.ON AG, METRO Group and degussa AG. Further partnerships are aimed at consolidating and presenting important collections and bequests by artists. Another committed partner is the association Friends of museum kunst palast which is open to all art lovers. |

History and Architecture Since the opening of the Kunstpalast in 1902 art has indeed reigned here - with short interruptions – and has been presenting many of its facets. Restructuring work on the museum, which reopened in September 2001, also encompassed the interior design of the wing of the former Kunstmuseum, offering the visitor a stimulating exhibition experience owing to an innovative presentation of the museum’s collections. |
